What Exactly Is The Kush System™?
Our leading product is Kush™, which is an injectable veterinary device used in the treatment of osteoarthritis in dogs. Kush partcles for intra-articular, (I.A.) injection is a sterile, gel-partcle, vetinary device.
The Kush particles act like micro-sized sponges, (75-100 microns in diameter) to take up the joints synovial fluid, thereby making them slippery, (lubrcious), and the fluid's inherent physcal characterstices combine with the particles urable structure to provide a soft springy cushion when force is applied to them, mimicking and augmenting the effects of natural cartilage.
Kush particles are designed to prevent the occurrence and re-occurrence of joint pain from loss of cartilage or tissue-bone mechanical malfunction caused by join dysfunction not associated with infection, (e.g. lameness, osteoarthritis). Kush particles are injected as a vetinary devce to augment synoval flud function, without pharacologic, chemical, or metabolic action. The gel-particles act as a soft mass material that inegrates well into the synoval fluid and surrounding space to provide a soft, lubricous, elestic cushion.
